Katy Keene Look book

Hello, and welcome to my blog! I have recently started to watch Katy Keene, and I am so in love with her fashion style! Although this is a look book, I won’t be trying to recreate any of her outfits, instead I will be taking inspiration from her and applying it to my own wardrobe (but let me know if that’s something you would like to see). Without further a do, here are the outfits!

Outfit #1

For this first outfit I chose to pair my gingham dress (as seen on Five versatile outfits from a single dress) with my pink cherry top (also seen on How to style a graphic top), as the design cannot be seen underneath. I also wore it with my DKNY bag (I talk more about this here – My Birthday OOTD) and a pair of super cute white sunnies in the shape of a heart. I really think this outfit captures Katy Keene’s pink aesthetic, though I do believe she would wear it with some red – possibly a cape or heels?

Outfit #2

I chose to pair the same cherry top as before with pair of tapered navy trousers. I think this one screams what Katy would were in college, especially with the fjallraven kanken (and especially in that colour!) I also layered a collared shirt underneath to add to the preppy vibes, which would also be really warm and cosy in the autumn and winter (but sweltering on a sunny day like today!).

Outfit #3

For this outfit, I went for some fondant fancy vibes! I think that Katy would wear this with a cherry collar and a red bag, but it definitely does cater to her candyfloss pink style. I really do love this outfit and I think it’s perfect for a summers day.

Outfit #4

I decided to pair my embroidered strawberry shorts with a button down shirt. This is definitely my take on the cherry vibes Katy has and I think the cinched waist with the bow detail really adds to the look. I also wore it with my Cath Kidston floral bowler bag, which is definitely more my vibes than Katy’s, but it works well. The sleeves on the shirt were rolled up and the collar was popped to make it more weather appropriate for the summer.

In conclusion…

I am so excited to continue watching the show and become entranced in her glorious outfits. This post has really made me realise that I don’t own a single red thing in my wardrobe, and you know what that calls for – a haul! (black Friday anyone?) Thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog, feel free to leave comments, likes and shares – I truly appreciate each and every one of them.

XoXo,

Pretty Petite Fashion
